If Jiraiya was re-animated, it would e hard to fight because of the connections he made, Naruto, Kakashi, Guy, so many loved him so killing him would be extremely difficult

They don't need to kill him, they just need to disable him/ prevent him from moving then find the caster of Reanimation to cancel it.

That could also be a reason why he could release himself from edo tensei , just like a few folks did after major closure moments. I think the whole pain-naruto resolution would be enough to trigger that.
